about

The Bumbs were a rock and roll band on their way to fame in 1965. One night after a gig their VWagon broke down in the rain. They were trying to fix it when a man stopped by and helped them out. They talked about the war with righteous words. He told them after he'd fixed the Bumbwagon that he'd actually seen their show and 'dug their vibes'. The Bumbs said 'cool man'.

The Bumbs continued driving down the road, lost in the rain. A blue mist had also begun to creep up on the windows. Then without warning the radio went haywire. The van started the shake and then suddenly hopped forward, onto a sunny road identical to where they'd just been.

The Bumbwagon broke down again. They pulled it over and flipped the front hood open. Everything looked normal except the man seemed to have installed a large silver disk on the battery. They tried to pull it off but it seemed fastened.

Without warning the disk then opened up like an eye and a projection shot up. The man who had helped them was now staring at them as a hologram. He told them how in the future scientists discover a rip in space-time some, many light years away which has been widening and distorting the realities our our multiverse. They have discovered that the only way to fix the bloos is with good vibrations. So, though he is sorry, he had to send them on a inter dimension mission to save the multiverse from the cosmic bloos. The Bumbs said 'so it goes' and then tried to hitch a ride into town.

So the Bumbs are now cruising the multiverse in their Bumbwagon just trying to get back to the 60's, but, in order to get there they have to follow their radio to the cosmic blues and tune them out playing their good vibrations.
